Portland

 We made it....alive!  I still can't believe we moved and because everything is new but because it doesn't really feel that different (if that makes any sense).  The drive was good.  It mostly looked like this...

And Emily, You have a mountain.

 And we saw a few barges flouting down the river.  It blew my mind a little bit and I finally realized the rest of the world didn't grow up in Nevada and they are actually large bodies of water everywhere.  Obviously I already knew this but it was just amazing to see.

And than about 1 1/2 hours from Portland everything turn into this BAM!!! It was wild and kinda just happened.  So so so many trees.

We arrived.  We un-packed.  Ate delicious food with Jared's parents and aunt and uncle.  Where amazingly blessed with help from Jared parent.  We said goodbye.  And this kid went to his first day of school.  So far so good (yeah...that's outside our apartment.  It's green everywhere).

 One more thing.  It hit 100 degrees today.  And we don't have any stinking air conditioning.  Perfect blog life bubble burst!
